Carp earrings origami

The carp is always in motion and is considered one of the fish with more energy and strength. It's able to swim against the current, therefore it symbolizes non-conformism, perseverance, tenacity. Finally, it is a symbol of courage: the carp, lying on the cutting board waiting to be killed, remains impassive and proud, in an attitude that recalls that of the Samurai. It is the form indicated to wish determination, strength and courage.

A plasticizer is applied to the paper before processing, which makes it waterproof to a few drops of water and at the same time gives it greater strength and brilliance. The model of this origami was designed by the talented Riccardo Foschi and has been partially modified for a better wearability of the earring.
